Awarded RACC Professional Development Grant

I'm pleased to share that I've been awarded a Regional Arts and Culture Council Professional Development Grant for a mentorship through Portland's Newspace Center for Photography.  I'll be studying with one of Newspace's instructors over a six month period to to hone and refine my photographic practice, technique, and business acumen.

T
he Professional Development Grant is unique as it does not fund "a work" but rather a specific opportunity that will "improve  business management development skills and/or brings the artist or the arts organization to another level artistically." Many thanks to RACC and also to Portland artist, S. Renee Mitchell. Her grant writing workshop, hosted by RACC some weeks before I applied, was instrumental in my application process.
