This past July 15th I was a part of an amazing project, Oregon Dayshoot+30. In association with the Oregon Historical Society, the project sent over 100 photographers and videographers from across Oregon to document one 24-hour cycle in the life Oregon. I was one of them and spent one jam-packed day biking around Portland trying to do it all. What a learning lesson! I was able to document North Portland Library, a number of people on the street, several dancers, and two other documentarians. Thematically, I was able to hit all of my passions - words, dance, and photo/documentation.
I'm not sure of the exact format of the final work or the date of release, but some of the work can be viewed at dayshoot30.org. Currently there's an exhibit of many of the photographs at Portland International Airport. And one of my images can be seen on one of their photo updates HERE.
